About Us

The Eternal Guru.

The Gurdwara was established to spread the teachings of Sri Guru Granth Sahib, the Eternal Guru of the Sikhs, which explains how to meet God during this lifetime. Three key principles taught by Sri Guru Granth Sahib are enshrined in every aspect of the Gurdwara.

Simran – focused practice for the mind

Seva – selfless service

Sangat – community

Akaal Takhat.

The Gurdwara is governed by the Akaal Takhat, the highest temporal authority of the Sikhs. At Guru Maneyo Granth Gurdwara there is no elected committee; every aspect of the gurdwara is run by sevadaars (volunteers) who are not paid or remunerated in any way.

COVID-19 Food Support Programme

With Waheguru’s Grace, we are honoured to receive the Queen’s Award for our Covid-19 Food Support Programme. We accept this recognition on behalf of all Sikhs around the World and the collaborative efforts of all the charities, organisations, faith groups & individuals we had the pleasure of serving with. This recognition would not be possible without the examples of our forefathers & teachers paving the way of how Seva (selfless service) is done. All credit goes to them and their teachings of selflessness for the betterment of humanity.
